Prospects for expansion of bilateral trade with Lebanon

Expand Sri Lanka Tea among the Lebanon Consumers

  • Lebanon is one of the main markets for Sri Lankan tea.
  • According to the Statistics of International Trade Centre, Sri Lanka is a major trading Partner of Lebanon for tea.
  • Sri Lankan tea accounts for 71% of total tea imports of Lebanon from the world in terms of value. Therefore, we have prospects to expand our tea market among the 5 mn of people in Lebanon.

Identification the new products for Lebanon Markets

Pearls, Precious Stones; Apparels; Tricycles, scooters, pedal cars and similar wheeled toys; are potential product that could be exported to Lebanon in the near future.
